This award will be given out at the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet This award is given annually to a woman who is a Kerr County resident who has demonstrated a history of leadership and commitment within the local community The criteria includes: charitable, religious work, as well as civic, and service commitments. The nominee must be a resident of Kerr County, Texas.
Women in our community deserve special recognition for their efforts, talents and skills in making Kerr County a better place to live. The Outstanding Women of the Year (OWOY)Award celebrates how far women have come in leadership roles in the business, community and philanthropic fields. While many of these women come from different industries and walks of life, they share several traits — a strong sense of self, a success-driven work ethic and the extraordinary accomplishments to show for it. Their commitment, vision and talents make them true leaders in their communities. We are seek nominations of women who have made important, perhaps unique, economic, social, cultural, civic or humanitarian contributions to their communities. To honor the woman who has shown such extraordinary leadership, the Kerr County Women’s Chamber will select this year’s Outstanding Women, and honor her at the Kerrville Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet on October 26, 2017 at the YO Ranch Hotel and Conference Center.
